Little Red Strikes Again...

So Little Red sits me down on Christmas Eve looks me squarely in the eyes and asks that dreaded question,  "So, Mum, is Santa real?"

Being a very switched on 12 year old, I knew that he knew the answer to this question and was trying to figure out the angle... there had to be an angle... this is Little Red after all...

Flustering a little trying to come up with the right answer, he cooly and calmly says in what can only be described as a chilling, calculated voice, "It's just like this Mum... if he's real then we need to figure out why all my presents have been bought by you and are hidden under your bed. If he's not, then obviously I want to know why you have lied to me year after year for the last 12 years and how can I ever trust you?"

Little Red strikes again........
