Tooooo Quiet

The frogs have gone silent

in our world of high tech.

“Why?” asks the heron

with the question mark neck.

 

“Who?” asks the owl

(as if we needed to check).

Dead frogs tell no tales

in our world of high tech.

Yikes!!!
