Kids in the Kitchen!

Sugar, Spice and Spilled Milk

Pepperoni and Cheese Crescents

These easy peasy recipes were featured in our Holiday Edition and we found them so much fun, we wanted to share them on our blogs. Enjoy some 'kitchen/cooking' time with the kids!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 24 slices pepperoni (about 5 ounces)
  • 1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced ripe olives
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare a sheet pan by lining with parchment paper. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles. Stretch out each triangle a little. Arrange 3 pepperoni slices lengthwise down the center of each triangle. Place a few sliced olives over the pepperoni. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon cheese over olives. Roll up each triangle starting at the shortest side and rolling to the opposite point. Place the rolls, point side down on prepared pan. Bake the rolls for 10 −14 minutes or until they are golden brown. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping. Dee-lish!!!
